The whole reservation process was hassle-free. Very nice email and WhatsApp contact. The vehicle was fine so far and didn't cause any problems while driving. Unfortunately, the car was not fully fueled when it was handed over. It is difficult to return a vehicle with the same tank level. Unfortunately, the driver with the rental car at the port in Kotor was about half an hour late for the handover. As a local, you should actually be able to estimate the local traffic and the time required. He was not on time at the time of return either. We were told over the phone to just park the car in the parking lot, lock it and put the key in the trunk. Which is what we did. Afterwards we noticed that the driver didn't have a spare key with him. Apparently we shouldn't have locked the car, but left it open. But we would still rent a vehicle from the company again, because overall the price-performance ratio is right.

Car rental prices in Montenegro follow a clear seasonal pattern. Winter (November–March) offers the lowest rates — the coast is quiet and some mountain roads close. Prices climb sharply from June through August as beach tourism peaks, especially in July–August when Budva, Kotor, and Tivat are at full capacity. May and September–October offer the best balance — warm weather, fewer crowds, and lower rates.
