Since we were resting at the peak of the season, the search for a car began about a week before departure to Montenegro. But it was already too late (( Cars in my price segment were either not available, or the rent was exorbitant, as for Montenegro. I have browsed over 20 sites. And everywhere there was one answer - sorry we don’t have available car ... After I left a request for Toyota Yaris at localcarhires.com, the site accepted it, reserved about 65 euros from my card (15% of the rental cost). I was glad that the search was finally successful. But it was not there) Christina, the manager of the local operator, contacted me and said that there were no cars already available for my time. I was upset, I thought that it was a divorce and that I could no longer see the 65 euros debited from the card ... We entered into communication with Christina. She was looking for a way out, gave different proposals. And most importantly, I was not sent. Christina was almost always in contact, even at 21-22 pm. As a result, Christina found a Skoda Fabia, but 3 days later than I needed. Not at a loss, upon arrival in Kotor, I found an advertisement on the street about renting a scooter. And while we were waiting for our car, we rode along the coast of the Bay of Kotor on it) Looking ahead, I will say that the car was very useful when traveling to the mountains, moving from Kotor to Budva and over long distances. And for trips along the coast, a scooter was perfect. Plus, keep in mind that everything is very tight with car parking in Montenegro. Narrow streets, huge traffic jams, few parking lots, and it's almost impossible to park on the coast. Getting a car. The car was delivered to the place indicated by me and on time (delivery service costs 20 euros). The paperwork process took 5 minutes. The friendly manager showed everything quickly, filled out the form and that's it, the car is at my disposal. Everything was quick, easy and convenient. The car corresponded to the descriptions, specifications stated on the website and was in excellent condition. And most importantly, full payment could be made upon the return of the car. Compared to renting a car, for example, in Hertz, where you need to go to their office, wait in line, they will take out your brain with a bunch of forms, documents, extra. payments for late return, prepayments, etc., everything here was as comfortable as possible. Car return. We agreed that I will return the car a few hours later than the contractual deadline, at the Tivat airport. No extras payments were not taken from me. I returned it, paid for it and flew home. By the way, it was not possible to pay by card, it is more convenient for local people if payments are made in cash. Vi bookede en bil i Budva i 5 dage og planlagde at aflevere den i Kotor. I Budva blev bilen bragt direkte til hotellet, vi behøvede ikke at gå efter den, og et par dage før afslutningen af reservationen ændrede vi returstedet fra Kotor til Tivat, så vi kom der uden problemer og ekstra betalinger. Selve bilen er af sin årgang fin, kun lidt svær at overhale, men med alle serpentinerne klarede den sig perfekt. Jeg kan kun anbefale den!

I will write the pros and cons. pros: 1. there was no our car, they called us and offered another, until ours appeared (one day). 2. polite employee, pleasant communication. 3. punctuality. the car and the first and second were brought on time. 4. the technical condition of large units (engine, brakes, gearbox) was in good working order, at least from the driver's point of view. the box was not "stupid", the engine did not fail, the brakes worked properly. minuses: 1. both the first and second cars were not very new. or rather not at all in a new one, although the Toyota was only three years old, but it was in very strong scratches, chips. in the Audi (which we were given on the first day) there was a crack in the windshield, and one rear door was not closed with the central lock. also, the trunk did not open there, at all, in general, in any way. 2. cleanliness. The Audi interior was stained with .. I don't know .. with salt? sea water? sweat ?. that is, no one at all takes care of the cleanliness. small debris on the rugs. before handing over the Toyota, we washed the car and it was much cleaner on delivery than when it was handed over to us. 3. there was no washer in the car at all !!! I had to buy it for my own money, as the roads are dusty in places and without a washer. 4. price. as it turned out, it is slightly higher than the market for such a state of the car.

In case of a small problem with closing the roof, we HAVE ARRIVED from Budva in 20 minutes in Kotor in 20 minutes and showed / repaired everything (earlier, when renting a car from other companies, I learned the way to the only car service in Kotor and its mode of operation). The landlord speaks excellent Russian. The car is clean and in very good condition. We are very pleased with the rental and plan to use the services of this particular company on our next visit to Montenegro. Thank you dear friends!

It wasn't the most smooth experience. It turned up about an hour late and we were on a really tight schedule, meaning we had to change/cancel some of our plans. We were told traffic was bad which can't be helped but a bit of forward planning could have avoided this.
