Everything went perfectly! The day before departure, we were contacted by whatsapp to clarify the time of picking up the car. The rental staff met at the airport on time, we examined the car together, recorded all the damage, we signed the documents, handed over the rest of the money and gave us the car. And even the suitcases were loaded) Clearance is fast and convenient! The car, though old and outwardly rather shabby, has never failed in 2 weeks. Only they did not figure out the radio tape recorder, for some reason it was in Chinese, the phone could not be connected and periodically the radio tape recorder itself displayed some voice prompts in Chinese) They handed us the car perfectly clean, both outside and inside. The tank was almost full, they agreed to return it the same way. I called several times on various issues, Janis was always in touch. The return of the car was much faster than the reception, in just a couple of minutes the car was inspected, we handed over the keys and that's it! No additional payments and imposed services! We rented the car a little dusty, but no questions arose from the owner - apparently the car is washed inside and out after each rental. Many thanks to Janis and his team for such a wonderful service! Highly recommend!

We took 10 year car although I booked 2020 car. Owner offered 20 euro discount. At first I felt deceived, but the car was clean and in two weeks I drove a thousand kilometers without any problems. Although there was two problem - the reverse camera worked whenever it wanted and of course not when it was needed) and car had bad light because the headlights were dim. I quickly got used to the car and it was a bit of a shame to give it back at the end of the vacation. The car is good and reliable, fuel consumption is low, the air conditioning worked perfectly, excellent brakes and good suspension. I'll rent a car here again on my next vacation, but I'll make sure they give me a new one to make me feel more comfortable.

I didn't get the car I ordered. Opel Corsa. And I wasn't happy. But the passenger door did not open from the inside. And they changed it to a higher class car and I was satisfied It would be nice to introduce control of the issuance of exactly the car that was ordered or not to declare it.

The border between the Republic of Cyprus and the northern (Turkish) part of the island is real, and not every supplier allows you to cross it in their car. Most companies forbid the trip outright: insurance taken out on the southern side does not work in the north. A few suppliers on Cyprus do allow the crossing, but it always needs to be agreed before booking, when picking the car. At the Agios Dometios (Metehan) checkpoint near Nicosia, you buy a separate Turkish third-party policy at the kiosk — it is cheap, but you will not be allowed in without it. It happens that a renter books with a supplier who does not allow Northern Cyprus, and ends up turned back at the border. Crossing rules need confirming before you sign the contract — not the day before the trip.

At Larnaca and Paphos, your supplier meets you straight at arrivals with a flight-number sign. There is no rental desk to find, no shuttle bus to wait for and no queue. By the time other tourists are still being driven to the rental lot, you have signed the contract and you are on the road.

Most European licences need no IDP
EU, EFTA, UK and Swiss licences are accepted on the plastic card alone — no International Driving Permit required. Licences from outside this group are accepted as long as they include Latin script. An IDP is needed only if your card is in a non-Latin alphabet, like Arabic, Chinese or Japanese.
