Everything was fine until the return of the car, we agreed to meet near the airport at 9:30. My flight was at 11:10. About what I told in advance to the person who will take the car. The man was 30 minutes late, I had to leave the car and run to the flight. At first he said that he would be in 15 min, then 7-8 total 30. Our family, and we have a child 3 and 12 years old, missed the flight. We were at the gate to the plane at 11:05. We were not allowed to get on the plane. Bottom line: since the airplane flies to Vilnius twice a week, it is pn and pt, we had to take tickets for pt -360 €, accommodation 300 euros not to mention the additional payments. No one compensated us for our lateness. So we are not very satisfied

Fine! The car was brought directly to Larnaca airport and met me with a sign, the landlord speaks excellent English and good Russian. The car was clean, not damaged, with air conditioning. Relatively new. There were no problems with the car and no complaints. When I returned, I wrote in whatsapp to the landlord at a convenient time for me, and at that time I was met in the departure area at the airport.

Most European licences need no IDP
EU, EFTA, UK and Swiss licences are accepted on the plastic card alone — no International Driving Permit required. Licences from outside this group are accepted as long as they include Latin script. An IDP is needed only if your card is in a non-Latin alphabet, like Arabic, Chinese or Japanese.
