Everything went well :) The guys met us at the airport, the car was handed over in good condition, payment was accepted by unionpay card - it turned out to be a nice bonus for us, because initially the information was that only cash was accepted. They don't speak Russian at all, but we understood each other, we agreed where we would meet when returning the car so that we wouldn't have to pay for parking. At the hotel, I wrote an angry message to the manager that if they did not turn off the jammer, I would report the intrusive service to the police! I was furious at such disrespect for customers, which looked like revenge for refusing to rent a navigator ... .. In the morning, the jammer was already turned off. I always take a car when I travel to different countries, but I have never seen anything like this, especially in the UAE, and it was the 15th trip. Previously, when I ordered a car through Emirates, I did not need to move from terminal to terminal by taxi to pick up or return the car.

Not at the moment. Cross-border travel to Oman and Saudi Arabia is currently unavailable on our UAE catalogue — it requires a special No Objection Certificate (NOC) and an extended insurance policy. If the route is important for your trip, please contact our support team before booking and we'll check whether an individual arrangement is possible.
Yes. Our UAE catalogue includes cars that accept cash, a debit card or a credit card for the deposit, plus cars that require no deposit at all. Use the 'Payment method' filter in search, or open the 'Deposit' block on a car card to see which methods that specific car accepts. Note: most providers require a physical card for the deposit block — Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay typically cannot be used for the deposit, only for the online booking fee.
Traffic fines in the UAE are registered against the car's number plate, so the rental company receives them first and then passes the charge on to you, together with a small administrative fee (typically AED 50–100). Fines can take 2–4 weeks to appear after your rental ends, so keep your payment card valid for that period.
