I ordered a Renault Clio4 diesel manual, but they replaced it with a higher class - Opel Astra diesel automatic for the same money. At the appointed time a TakeCars employee was waiting for us at the airport parking lot, as agreed. We traveled in September 2024 from Belgrade to Montenegro and back. All in a circle of about 1500 km. The car did not let us down. In the mountains the diesel pulls very confidently. Full tank is enough for 700-750 km. (the price of diesel 1,42 euros). Seating behind the wheel and on the front passenger seat is very comfortable. The trunk for things for two people is quite enough. Air conditioning and other systems of the car worked well. From the minuses: a dent on the rear left wing; tire pressure sensor is not working; the button for adjusting the side mirrors is broken. In summary, I am satisfied with the use of this service. It went a little better than abysmal. The rental company didn't send the car. Because, according to them, they didn't know about my order because either the confirmation didn't come from you, or they didn't see it. After long negotiations they changed their version and said that they knew, but the driver did not wait for me, although the flight was not late and I left 30 minutes after the plane landed. I ended up sitting an extra three hours at the airport and got the car. Mesedes was as old as possible, but diesel and on automatic. On the last day of the lease, the check engine light came on and has not gone out. I gave up and crossed myself. In general, I got the car as I wanted and it did not break down. But I was nervous.

In fact the car was replaced by a vw golf. Everything is not bad, the car is not very new, but it is technically in good condition. According to acquaintances, it is a bit expensive. Otherwise, I am satisfied with everything.

We rented a Volkswagen Golf Variant for a trip from Serbia to Montenegro. We ordered additional delivery to the hotel, but the car arrived a couple of hours late because the previous renter did not return it on time. Nevertheless, the car came, exactly what we ordered, and during the long trip showed itself perfectly. We had 4 suitcases and all of them comfortably fit in the trunk. A couple of times saved the system of emergency braking during parking in the narrow streets of the Montenegrin coast, not letting you hit the surrounding houses and cars) From the minuses I want to note the outdated firmware navigation, part of the Serbian autobahns on it is simply not, had to use a third-party navigator. I will definitely continue to use the Take Cars service, it was the easiest and most understandable booking, where you are not imposed additional services or scare you with huge deposits, as it often happens in popular rental companies.
