We rented a car in Thailand through takecars.com. The choice of cars is convenient, all information is on the site. For more information you can directly write to the lessor. My question was answered quickly. I liked that the website clearly states what is included in the rental amount and the type of insurance. There is no mileage restriction and we did not have to pay extra for the possibility of traveling to other provinces of Thailand (other similar sites asked a lot of extra for this), as we traveled to Phuket, for us it was a significant plus. We received our car at the airport in Bangkok. Everything went quickly, clearly, without overlaps. We were sent accurate information about the meeting place and the amount of extra payment in baht (we paid for the car through the website in rubles). The car itself was not new (year of manufacture is indicated on the site), with small dents on the body, which were fixed during the transfer. The chassis, of course, requires repair, something occasionally knocked, but it did not prevent us on the road. To be fair, it should be said that it was the cheapest car of this brand from those offered on the site. The return was also quick and hassle free. We did not contact support, there was no need. Overall: the impression from booking on the website and the process of handing over the car is positive (5 out of 5), the car is not in the best technical condition (3 out of 5).

They met me, handed over the car promptly, helped with currency exchange and buying a SIM card at the airport, did not bother me during the rental process, but were always in touch with my requests. At the end of the car was taken without jerks, returned the deposit and all this took place in a friendly and warm atmosphere, which is very important when you are abroad. The car did not let me down, worked properly, drove about 1000km, consumption about 6 l/100km, air conditioning worked properly. In general, the rating is excellent.

Yellow dim headlights, no Bluetooth, only radio and CD. No climate control, no rear seat air conditioning. Rumble in the cabin the whole way like an AN-24 airplane.

Met us at Suvarnabhumi airport for pickup (waited with a sign) and handing over the car at the specified time. Reasonable prices, basically had a nice Honda City car. If not for one thing. At the end of the trip, in the vicinity of Bangkok, the car broke down on the autobahn. We contacted Joey, he promptly called a tow truck, which removed us free of charge from the autobahn, and sent a replacement car Toyota Altis, no extra charge. The deposit was refunded in full when we turned in the car. And more, we clarified upon receipt - how to leave the parking lot of Suvarnabhumi airport, they said free of charge on the ticket, but we were charged 80 baht at the exit, a small thing, but the residue remained.

It was fine, but I didn't get the Honda City, as it had an accident a couple days before I rented it. I got a Toyota Yaris Ativ instead, which I didn't want to rent, even though it was cheaper by 100 baht per day. Because it has a very poor equipment, air conditioner blows either in the legs or in the body, and for hot Thailand good air conditioning in the car is number one. In general as a result I blew out my right ear and it was very painful, and still it is not cured till the end, still periodically it lodges. With music in the car also problems, konektakila magnet only with an iPhone, and we all have android, in general traveled throughout Thailand without music, on the phone listened to 🤦♂️. Engine 1,2 liters also does not shine sharpness, on the passes of Patong had to push the accelerator to the floor. In general, the car in all parameters lost to Honda, but there was no other choice, we reported the day before the lease and there was no time to look for something else. Otherwise we drove about 2500km around Thailand, the car did not let us down.
