Many thanks to Irakly. We met at the airport, he took us to the center of Tbilisi, and an hour after arrival we drove along the Georgian military road towards Stepantsminda. Our first (overview) tour of Georgia was just great! This car, one of the few, with a mechanical gearbox (I chose specially), basically all offered cars have Automatic TM. I didn’t regret choosing this car of this class, there were a couple of places where you could only drive a car with high ground clearance. The car was in a good tech condition, and never disappointed us.

Our family of three rented a Toyota Prius Hybrid car from July 14 to July 30, 2022. The owner of the car - Tengiz drove the car from Tbilisi to Kutaisi airport at no extra charge. The car is not new, but fully serviceable and corresponds to the description. The machine is in good technical condition with low fuel consumption (Hybrid). I was somewhat surprised that we did not sign any documents, that is, nothing at all! It was said that everything would be recorded electronically. But where can I see everything, I did not understand. The passport and driver's license were photographed on the phone of the owner of the car and that's it. For rent for 16 days, we paid 1200 GEL + 200 GEL returnable deposit, which, in terms of dollars, came out to about 27 dollars a day. Taking into account the fact that in Georgia in July the high season, we can say that this is for nothing. For the entire time of the holiday, we traveled around half of Georgia and got two fines - turning in the wrong place (20 GEL) and speeding (50 GEL). Of all the documents for the car, we had only a plastic card - a technical passport. The presence of only one document did not raise any questions for the police. No one asked for a green card, no car lease, no insurance. I don’t know how it works in Georgia, but apparently it works somehow. )))) In Europe, I would already have problems, but here everything is fine. Miracles. I would like to express my gratitude to Tengiz for meeting and seeing us off on time, and for helping us quickly pay the fines at the Kutaisi airport. I wouldn't have made it without his help. We liked everything. We definitely recommend the owner!

To be honest it's terrible. The day before the start of the rent, I was informed that there was no car, supposedly somewhere tourists had an accident on it, but this was not so, because a few days later I saw this car completely intact. As a result, we agreed that they would bring me a car on the second day of the lease. I was charged a higher amount for rent than it was originally on the site. Well, the worst thing is that on the 4th day of the rental, the car engine breaks down in the mountains near Gudauri. We are left without a car for another day. I had to call a taxi for 300 lari from Gudauri to be picked up from the highway and taken to our house. The next morning, they allegedly brought me a replacement - a 7-seat pathfinder, instead of a 9-seat Vito, given that there were 9 of us, I also had to order a taxi for 2 more days to fit everyone. Of course, I did not receive any refunds for lost days (except the first one), taxis, nerves, etc.

The driver delivering the car spoke little English, but his boss called us when he arrived and explained the check out process. This way I knew what to expect and it meant the driver and I had the same expectations already. My main point of critique, would be the end of the rental. The owner of the rental company told us they were dealing with an accident, and would be delayed picking up the car and returning the deposit. This was difficult for us, because we had a flight leaving that same day. I tried to propose alternative solutions, but the communication was difficult at this time because the owner only replied with delays. In the end, he came with his employee to pick up the car and they seemed hung over. It was on a Sunday morning, and I suspect they had a good time the night before.
