Several things marred the rental: 1. When renting the car was transferred to the paid parking lot of the airport, on my question whether it is necessary to pay for parking the girl said No problem. At the exit it turned out that the parking lot must be paid -150 baht. 2. Return the car should be with a full tank. The contract does not specify penalties for an empty tank. On the way to the airport was nowhere to refuel, and the tank was at the end of the trip a quarter. Well, I think, I will pay for a full tank of 1500 baht and that's the end of it. But they started demanding 2000 from me. Why what - just give me 2000. I had in the dates was 1700 - I say take 1700 is still more than the cost of the tank. They are not in what kind of like go to the direction or 2000. The woman who took the car did not understand English. In general the result - I exchanged the money at an unfavorable rate and gave them 2000. The manager started to teach me what to do to avoid wasting their time. The main claim that the fine and the amount of the fine is not written in the contract. So it was taken from the ceiling.

I would like to warn future car renters at Suvarnabhumi airport: very serious traffic and complicated junctions, it will be very difficult without a lot of driving experience. We got lost both when we were leaving and when we were driving back. Google navigator shows the junctions not accurately, Yandex is lost in space. I recommend to see the junctions in advance in Google or on video somewhere. There are no special remarks on the car, mileage 24000 km, the engine 1,5 liter is weak for a seven-seater. On a smooth road goes 90-110 km/h normally, further does not pull. On Koh Chang the roads are mountain serpentine, it is very hard to drive uphill with 6 people, we had to turn off the air conditioner to overcome the rises. But the fuel consumption of the car on the highway is about 5l/100 km. In general, if you want to drive in the mountains, you should take something more powerful, if the road is more or less level, this car, as an option for 6 people will do. The day before the return I called the representative of the company, agreed on the time and place of meeting (on the 4th floor of Suvarnabhumi airport at the departure hall.
