We rented a Toyota Veloz in Thailand at Suvarnabhumi Airport. We rented a car for 6 people, so we needed a seven-seater. We spent a few days in Pattaya, then moved to Koh Chang. In general, everything went well, we did not cause any damage to the environment and the car.😁 At the airport we were met by a representative of the company in the place where agreed and on time, handed us the car, signed the contract. I would like to warn future car renters at Suvarnabhumi airport: very serious traffic and complicated junctions, it will be very difficult without a lot of driving experience. We got lost both when we were leaving and when we were driving back. Google navigator shows the junctions not accurately, Yandex is lost in space. I recommend to see the junctions in advance in Google or on video somewhere. There are no special remarks on the car, mileage 24000 km, the engine 1,5 liter is weak for a seven-seater. On a smooth road goes 90-110 km/h normally, further does not pull. On Koh Chang the roads are mountain serpentine, it is very hard to drive uphill with 6 people, we had to turn off the air conditioner to overcome the rises. But the fuel consumption of the car on the highway is about 5l/100 km. In general, if you want to drive in the mountains, you should take something more powerful, if the road is more or less level, this car, as an option for 6 people will do. The day before the return I called the representative of the company, agreed on the time and place of meeting (on the 4th floor of Suvarnabhumi airport at the departure hall. The representative met us, inspected the car, returned the deposit. We would like to thank the company representative and TakeCars staff for the opportunity to rent the car. Thank you!

All in all, it's fine. Let's run through a couple of things: 1) I was given a different car than the one I booked. Yes, you will say that I was given a similar one. But it was critical that I was given the exact one I booked. That's what I booked in advance for. Not actually 2) Paying for parking at the airport - I was not warned that I had to pay for it. I did not have money - I went again, exchanged currency, spent a lot of extra time on it.

The day before the car was returned, the car started to vibrate terribly, as if the wheel would fly off, we had to rebuild the whole last day. We rented a car in Thailand through takecars.com. The choice of cars is convenient, all information is on the site. For more information you can directly write to the lessor. My question was answered quickly. I liked that the website clearly states what is included in the rental amount and the type of insurance. There is no mileage restriction and we did not have to pay extra for the possibility of traveling to other provinces of Thailand (other similar sites asked a lot of extra for this), as we traveled to Phuket, for us it was a significant plus. We received our car at the airport in Bangkok. Everything went quickly, clearly, without overlaps. We were sent accurate information about the meeting place and the amount of extra payment in baht (we paid for the car through the website in rubles). The car itself was not new (year of manufacture is indicated on the site), with small dents on the body, which were fixed during the transfer. The chassis, of course, requires repair, something occasionally knocked, but it did not prevent us on the road. To be fair, it should be said that it was the cheapest car of this brand from those offered on the site. The return was also quick and hassle free. We did not contact support, there was no need. Overall: the impression from booking on the website and the process of handing over the car is positive (5 out of 5), the car is not in the best technical condition (3 out of 5).

After booking I was immediately contacted by a representative of the rental company, everything was quick and clear. On arrival I was met and escorted directly to the car. I drove for a month without a single problem, everything was great! Once only burst a tire, local Thais stopped and helped, then I called the owner and he solved everything literally in a couple of hours. I didn't have to pay anything and was back on the road in two hours. I was very satisfied! I will definitely contact you again, everything is honest, convenient and no fuss.

We were happy to drive around the island the same day and a few days later they asked for confirmation of the car.
