I received and handed over the car at Almaktum airport, we managed to agree without extra fees. And what is important, I did not leave any deposit for the car itself, which is very rare. Mazda 6 in the UAE
Mazda 6 is a good car. I didn't have any issues. What could be improved about service is: 1) provide basic information about stalls 2) how often car should be washed (hopefully I won't receive any tickets) to prevent police tickets 3) Tricky tickets. Like when you ride close on the motorway, the camera catches this and you will receive a ticket for close riding to next car. I didn't know about it, and had to google. 4) insurance. In all European countries if you take a full coverage it means I don't care if someone on the car parking will open their door and the car will be damaged. It's very strange that I need to check car every time and call the police for report. Especially you can get a ticket if they in case of they won't find any damage or damage that happened earlier and I didn't spot it. I prefer do not to call police for each small damage and I don't want to pay for that if I get full coverage.
Renault Duster in the UAE
Ordered a Renault Duster 4x4 for the day, but in fact brought 2008 Peugeot monopride. The car is fresh, no deposits were asked for, I didn't catch any fines during the day. Overall it's good, except the cost of the fines cost a lot more than the cost of the rental. It would be cool if there was some sort of manual on what to pay attention to. Instructions on how to pay in parking machines, instructions on how to pay a fine in the local traffic police, UAE id, some general information that Yandex maps do not show current road repairs and you can accidentally violate because of this, information that Yandex maps lie about free parking, maybe recommendations of the best navigators for the Emirates... spent half of my vacation on figuring this shit out instead of having a rest. The bill for payment of toll roads, already comes on return to Russia, respectively dancing with tambourine how to pay, maps RF do not pass. There are no complaints about the staff in the office in Dubai, polite, helpful, trying to help.

Car was great, in good condition and low mileage. Clean, no damage of any kind. The registration process was easy and quick. The only problem was at the stage of returning the car - the company has a parking lot near the office for the return, but it was occupied when we came to return the car and we drove around in circles in the area, trying to find free time and in parallel communicating with the manager. In the end we spent more than an hour, but we could not leave the car and came the next day in the morning (at 7 am), when there were no cars in the parking lot and handed over the keys with the car. Apart from these problems, everything else was great! For Russian citizens, this service is a lifesaver, as no deposit is needed.
