Having arrived on vacation in the UAE at the end of February 2023, I decided to rent a car and travel around the neighboring emirates and Dubai itself. Before that I read the forums on how and through what company to rent a car (the difficulty was mainly in the absence of a credit card working in the UAE to make a deposit and the search for companies working with Russian cards). I had a choice between two car rental companies but after comparing prices I settled on LocalCarHires.com. I booked a car with the delivery to the hotel the next day, receiving and returning the car after 1.5 weeks passed without any problems (upon receipt and delivery, I and a representative of the local rental company, each on his phone took the car inside and outside checked the mileage and the amount of gasoline and I paid the passage of the UAE toll roads in the end). But since I didn't have a valid credit card, I paid the deposit in cash in the amount of 1500 dirhams. The local rental company had promised a refund in 3 weeks to my bank account or via money transfer. When I returned home and waited for my deposit to be refunded, I wrote to the local rental company representative about the deadline to send me my deposit. I gave them my bank account number (Raiffeisenbank accepts SWIFT transfers from UAE) and the second way through a money transfer system CONTACT (there are also points of acceptance in the UAE). But then the local company in the chat messaging on messaging that send via SWIFT to Russia will not work, and the system KONTAKT they do not know and can only offer Western Union (which does not accept remittances to Russia). In my correspondence with them passed 10 days and finally my annual question "When will I get my deposit refund?" and the answer of the local rental company "We are dealing with this problem. The dialogue for a refund came to a standstill. So I decided to seek help from LocalCarHires.com, the company through which I had booked my car from a local. After my explanation of the problem with the refund of the deposit, the support service contacted the local rental company and within three days, the local company returned the deposit to me (via money transfer system CONTACT, there are many money transfer offices in the UAE, including the popular Al Ansari Exchange network available in almost all malls). In my situation, the fact that I booked a car through a major rental company did not allow the locals to wash out my deposit.

Thank you, everything went very well. The car was promptly delivered to Sharjah airport, even before the scheduled time, the flight was postponed for half an hour - but we did not wait. The car is almost new, the staff was friendly, helped to sort out everything, drove to the gas station, and then drove ourselves to Ras el Khaimah. For 2 weeks we drove more than 2 t. km, we were everywhere, even in Abu Dhabi. We returned the car just as quickly at Sharjah airport. We recommend the rental company and your website to our friends. We had a great vacation in the summer heat thanks to car rental. Also, I would like to note that in BM beach hotel the staff and administration were interested in our car and were very surprised at the conditions for which we rented it. We consider very inexpensive and as convenient as possible, compared to other countries.

I rented a Suzuki from February 22 to 25 of this year but received a Nissan instead an hour late from the appointed time. The car was in terrible condition, due to lack of time to wait for another car, I was forced to pick this one up and the first thing I did was go to the car wash. The fuel level was slightly higher than the empty tank, but I returned it with the same level. The driver who brought the car was very friendly. The manager with whom I contacted via WhatsApp kindly prepared all the documents in advance and receiving the car at the airport terminal took only a few minutes. After returning the car to the same place, I was told that after 14 days I could receive the cash deposit back. After two weeks, I contacted the manager about payment but could not get an answer for 4 days. in the end, after four days of silence, they told me that they meant 14 working days and that the period expires this week, and the money will be transferred to me on Monday of the next week, that is, March 18th. If I were a less experienced traveler, I would be very worried about a rental car. By the way, the rental office does not respond during non-working hours, but your employees send to the rental office. I would like to be more customer-oriented, all the same, I order a car from you, and not somewhere else. Another surprise was the attempt of the person who gave the car to sell us full insurance. He convinced me that I bought insurance from your company and in case of problems I would need to contact you, but he could not help in any way. But if you buy from him, it will be easier, simpler and in general it will be more correct. I ended up leaving your insurance because it was cheaper :) Well, I would like more clarity on how and where to take and rent a car. I contacted the man from the rental office and he explained to me tersely. A detailed and up-to-date (!) instruction from you would be a big plus for your company. At least for me, as a tourist in an unfamiliar country, it would be calmer, even if the instruction was redundant.

The car was delivered on time, as ordered, 2023 year. The price was as stated in the voucher, no hidden extras. I paid the balance in local currency in cash. The staff was responsive, they helped me to change dirhams in the bank, I have problems with English. There were small scratches on the car, all noted in the act when transferring the car. When returning the car was checked, new scratches did not appear. In general, everything is good, I can recommend the company.

On 21.12.2023 rented a Mercedes convertible car in the UAE DUBAI. On your website and in the booking documents it was stated that no deposit was required! On December 21 the driver arrived, was late for the appointed time and demanded a deposit. The deposit had to be made in cash or by card at the terminal. We did not have this amount in cash, the cards are Russian. The driver refused the service and drove away. In WhatsApp with the Russian-speaking manager we agreed that the driver would return, provide the service, and we would send the deposit to the Russian card. All this took a very long time, the driver came back, checked us in, handed over the car, meaning we took the car 2-3 hours late. We decided to clarify with the manager of your company, whether the next day we can give the car a little later, because we took it later than the necessary time. The answer we got was that no problem, it's not a big deal. We asked for the car for 2 hours later. All correspondence, conversations with this manager are available. At the appointed time for the driver, the driver was again late and arrived 40-50 minutes later. We were told that the deposit would be refunded within 18 business days. We were also told that the deposit is an amount that is taken to write off fines and road tolls. After a while we were sent a document and the deposit was returned. BUT! the deposit was transferred to us at a rate at which we lost a lot of money! At least no one told us that the exchange rate during the transfer will be such and you will lose money. Deposit is basically the cost, which is returned in full amount!!!!. Most importantly we were counted 2 full days! With all the arrangements. The manager promised to sort out the situation and refund the money for the second day. In the end, a few weeks later, for him just began to answer another person who does not even get into the situation Please resolve the issue. It's been more than 2 months, reviews of your firm are good, would not want to solve the issue in a legislative way, appeal to the police.
