A gps signal jammer is installed on the car !!!!!! in order to rent a navigator from them. I had my own navigator with all the points where I usually go .... I was offered a navigator for 200 dirhams. I refused. My sat nav couldn't pick up satellites in the car and I had to go outside, pick up satellites and drive to the hotel with my hand out the window... which is not safe. At the hotel, I wrote an angry message to the manager that if they did not turn off the jammer, I would report the intrusive service to the police! I was furious at such disrespect for customers, which looked like revenge for refusing to rent a navigator ... .. In the morning, the jammer was already turned off. I always take a car when I travel to different countries, but I have never seen anything like this, especially in the UAE, and it was the 15th trip. Previously, when I ordered a car through Emirates, I did not need to move from terminal to terminal by taxi to pick up or return the car.

I asked to send a photo of my documents, the address of issue and return of the car and flight numbers of arrival and return departure. I booked pickup and drop off at Al Maktoum Airport. Specified the time of issuance and return of the car on the site. He also confirmed the time of issuance and return of the company's car to the lessor - they confirmed that the car would be at the airport at the specified time. But the courier brought the car for 1.5 hours. Later. Before returning the car a day in advance, the lessor asked to confirm the time and place of return via WhatsApp. I confirmed - 5.00AM, Al Maktoum airport. He also pointed out that my departure was at 7.00AM and that the delay of the courier to return the car was highly undesirable. The company confirmed that it received this information (I can send correspondence if interested). But no one came to the airport in the morning to process the return of the car. I had to leave the car key in the car key box that was installed in the registration window of one of the car rental companies located at the airport. I took a picture of the box and its location, and the car in the airport parking lot - I sent the companies on WhatsApp with a description of the situation. After arriving in the country of residence, the company's courier contacted me via WhatsApp asking where to find the key at the airport - I sent him again a photo and a box at the airport. After 2 hours, I contacted the company - they confirmed to me that the car was safely picked up from the airport and the car return process was completed and the deposit blocked on my card would be returned within 30 days from the day the car was returned. Here is such a story. 4. - Also, the car was issued with a battery in the remote control with an immobilizer that had almost lost its charge. Didn't notice right away. The first day I had to start the car close to bring the remote control to the start button. And lock and unlock the car with a mechanical key. I contacted the company's support - they reported the battery model and sent a video instruction on how to replace it. But it turned out that the battery model number was reported incorrectly - I had to buy another one.🙂

I rented a car in the same place at the airport, Departures zone. Delivery took 5 minutes - quickly inspected the car. They also contacted me in advance on Whatsapp to clarify a convenient time for delivery. The car is in excellent condition. Please note that when driving on toll roads, you accumulate a debt - you will need to pay it when you return the car (I hit Salik 60 AED). Also keep in mind that the entrance to the parking area at the airport is paid and upon acceptance of the car, you will need to pay it additionally in the Pay Zone (30-40 AED). All fines, etc. - are also paid by you (which is quite logical). In all other respects, the payment corresponded to the original agreement, nothing more was required. For Russians - there is a payment by transfer to the Russian Federation by a card (Sberbank, you can use SBP) - very convenient if you don’t want to immediately bother with exchange at the airport and there are no international Visa / Mastercard cards (they can also be paid on the spot - the employee has a terminal with him for maps).
