Special thanks to the local landlord for their 24/7 support. In case of a small problem with closing the roof, we HAVE ARRIVED from Budva in 20 minutes in Kotor in 20 minutes and showed / repaired everything (earlier, when renting a car from other companies, I learned the way to the only car service in Kotor and its mode of operation). The landlord speaks excellent Russian. The car is clean and in very good condition. We are very pleased with the rental and plan to use the services of this particular company on our next visit to Montenegro. Thank you dear friends!

Everything went wonderfully. Service was quick and efficient. The only slight issue was when the car was being delivered to us to Kotor the driver had trouble finding the place, but this was certainly not his fault and the place was very hard to find! 😅 Rental time was flexible (we were a little late due to traffic but that was no problem) which was very nice and stress free. We also requested a navigator but didn't get one. Other than that everything was perfect!

The entire booking process, from the registration of the car on the site to the return at the airport, was as simple and convenient as possible. During the registration process it was possible to choose all the options concerning insurance, travel outside Montenegro or the need to provide additional components (booster, navigator, etc.). In addition, the employees of the company Milan and Goran were online to answer all related questions. Regarding the time of the car, Goran warned us in advance that there was traffic and there would be a slight delay. He then picked us up and drove us to the transfer location. We chose Skoda Fabia 1.1 gasoline, automatic, 110 hp, 2019 (if I remember correctly (smiley)). Compact, economical and very frisky car for maneuvering on mountain roads and serpentines. We went to Bosnia and Herzegovina and drove around the Kotor serpentine and Lovcen Park for another day. Everything was excellent. We chose the car based on the reviews among other things, but I'm sure they have a great selection of other cars as well). We had an early flight and by arrangement, we just left the car in the airport parking intact.) To summarize the above, I can say that LocalCarHires excellent service, which fully met our expectations, as well as Montenegro in general with its beautiful nature and kind people. We will definitely be back!!!

The delivery process was smooth, although slightly late because of an accident when they were coming to the airport (can happen, I don’t complain). The whole reservation process was hassle-free. Very nice email and WhatsApp contact. The vehicle was fine so far and didn't cause any problems while driving. Unfortunately, the car was not fully fueled when it was handed over. It is difficult to return a vehicle with the same tank level. Unfortunately, the driver with the rental car at the port in Kotor was about half an hour late for the handover. As a local, you should actually be able to estimate the local traffic and the time required. He was not on time at the time of return either. We were told over the phone to just park the car in the parking lot, lock it and put the key in the trunk. Which is what we did. Afterwards we noticed that the driver didn't have a spare key with him. Apparently we shouldn't have locked the car, but left it open. But we would still rent a vehicle from the company again, because overall the price-performance ratio is right.
