Unfortunately it was a really bad experience, because the car was broken (the entire electric system) so I had several issues during the three days I had the car.... Basically it kinda ruined my vacation in Albania... The renter (Aldi) was nice, he payed me the bus to go back to Tirana from Saranda (because the car was completely dead), and payed me the taxi to go back to the airport.... But actually I payed 168 euro for the car and it was given to me already broken... Very bad experience...at least I should have had back the money for all the problems it brought to me (fisical and mental)...

Rental company was quite flexible with the pick up and drop off time, but the car’s horn wasn’t working and the left front wheel was making noise whenever it was driven. I made complain about this but nothing was done or said. Even though i opted for maximum(full) insurance, a damage that i didn’t cause was still pinned on me, thankfully i made a full video before driving the car which showed the damage was there before. But asides those i guess it was an okay experience. The rental process was straightfoward and simple on your website. And also the inside of the car was dirty when it was delivered.

they gave us a worn down, not maintained car where literally everything was broken (and I mean everything) we found out during our stay. A dangerous car (flat tyres, no car horn, engine shut off when driving in first gear in the mountains) and numerous other stuff broken or missing. I contacted him (Aldi) about it. I had to drive back to Tirana to get a lifting jack for the car. In the end he was joking about it (I wouldn't need a car horn in Albania - we almost got into an accident because of this missing car horn). Also when renting the car I was asking a couple of times about the insurance. They said: no problem: everything is okay (his brother in law who was running the business in Tirana didn't speak English). Then on top of everything we had a huge engine failure in the mountains which he stated caused by our doing. I still don't know what happened to the car. After a few days he started texting me to pay him a lot of money for this (I think it was 2000 euro or something; oh no I got a 'discount'). And he started waving his contract (Albanian) at me. I declined because of the fact that I still don't know what happened to the car (never saw an official damage contract) and the bad state of the car. I never got a replacement car. So we only had the 16 days or so. We missed out 12 days. And then the 'threats' started. He would go to the police, legal steps, etc. He and his brother started pushing pressure on us. We left Albania because of this. And he is still sending me whatsapp messages through his 'friends' I guess. I should pay him or otherwise....I'm blocking everything right now. I already contacted my lawyer about this whole situation. This Aldi guy will give you a different story I guess, but this is my point of view. And in my point of view he is owing me money (car rental, deposit, full tank, taxi/bus).

everything worked just fine. I was contacted by the guy who rents out the cars and with gis help found the spot where he gave me the keys. I had no problem with the Fiesta throughout my vacation and gave the car back easily. Communication was good, can't complain. 👍🏻

Well, the car was fine as the person at the office. BUT, according the order somebody from the rent had to wait me at the airport in Tirana at 19.30. My plain was in time 19.10 , but nobody waited for me. After almost 2 hours waiting I took a taxi and went to hotel in the center of Tirana. On the way I told my story to the driver and he told me that he knows where the office of my rental company and it is better to go back as I made some prepayment. We turned back and everything finished fine. The car was OK and the person in the office was very kind. But I got the car at 22.10 and 20 eu had to pay for taxi. 🥺 Regards
