Car hire in Belek is a resort-zone game: this stretch holds one of Europe's densest clusters of golf courses, plus dozens of 5★ all-inclusive hotels. Most guests check into Rixos Premium, Maxx Royal or Regnum Carya for a week and only pick up a car for 2–3 days — to do Side, Aspendos or a tour of the golf courses on their own terms.
A couple from Manchester at Rixos Premium grabbed the keys at reception on day four, did Side at sunset, returned the car the next evening. No airport runs, no taxi quotes.
Unlike Alanya or Kemer, the roads around Belek are flat: no mountain switchbacks, easy to navigate even for a first-time driver in the region. AYT sits 30 km away, 25 minutes on the O-21. There's a small HGS toll on that stretch (~₺40–60), and the sticker is already on the car.
Pickup options for Belek
Two main ways to collect a car in Belek: at Antalya Airport, or with delivery to your hotel. For most all-inclusive guests, delivery is easier — the car comes to reception with no extra airport run.
Antalya Airport (AYT)
AYT is the only international airport in the region, 30 km and 25–30 minutes from Belek centre via the O-21 motorway and then the D400. All the major chains have desks in the terminal, alongside dozens of local operators via aggregators. Pricing and the rest match Antalya directly — it's the same hire market.
Hotel delivery
For guests at Belek centre, Kadriye and Boğazkent (the main 5★ resort zones), most local suppliers deliver free of charge. Çolaklı and Lara/Kundu are €5–15 by distance.
A family at Regnum Carya took two days of hire mid-week: morning drop-off at reception on Tuesday, keys handed back Thursday after the Aspendos run. The car sat in the resort car park overnight at zero cost.
All the 5★ resorts include free guest parking, so the hire car sits on site without an extra line on the bill.
Hotel delivery to specific Belek resorts
Belek is the main 5★ all-inclusive zone in Türkiye, and most local suppliers deliver to all the big resorts. Reception delivery is usually free or €5–15 depending on distance from the centre.
Belek centre and Kadriye — usually free
Rixos Premium Belek, Rixos Park, Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort and Golf & Spa, Regnum Carya, Cornelia Diamond, Calista Luxury, Titanic Deluxe, Kempinski The Dome, Susesi Luxury, Bellis Deluxe, Kaya Palazzo, Gloria Resort — almost all the main 5★ resorts in Belek. Many have rental desks in the lobby or a partner concierge, and pick-up takes 10–15 minutes.
Boğazkent, Çolaklı and Lara — €5–15
The further-out resorts towards Side (Çolaklı) and Antalya (Lara/Kundu, ~40 km from Belek centre) are usually paid by distance, but within reasonable limits. For Lara guests it's often quicker to pick up at AYT on the way to the hotel.
A guest at Cornelia Diamond was met by the supplier in the lobby at 9 a.m. — coffee from the concierge bar, paperwork done by 9:15, off to Aspendos before the tour buses showed up.
Most resorts run the handover through the concierge or a rental desk on site, so the whole process stays inside the hotel.
Where to drive from Belek
Belek sits between Antalya and Side, with most of Pamphylia's must-sees within an hour's drive. The roads are flat, no switchbacks.
The standard all-inclusive plan: 4–5 days at the hotel, 2–3 days of hire for the Side — Aspendos — Manavgat loop. A couple at Maxx Royal stayed at the Apollon Temple until sunset on a Wednesday — the coach tours had left two hours earlier.
Aspendos is 15 km / 20 minutes (the best-preserved Roman amphitheatre in the world, ticket ₺200–300). Side is 25 km / 30 minutes (the Apollon Temple at sunset, the Roman theatre, the beach). Manavgat is 30 km / 35 minutes (waterfall and river boat trips). Ancient Perge is 25 km / 30 minutes. Antalya and Kaleiçi sit at 35 km / 40 minutes.
Further afield: Pamukkale is 250 km / 3 hours each way. As a day trip it's possible but tiring; most stay overnight. Olympos and Çıralı are 120 km / 2–2.5 hours via Antalya and the Kemer switchback. Kaş, Fethiye and Bodrum are full road-trip territory.
A Belek golf trip is a different brief: you need a proper boot (Renault Symbol, Dacia Duster, Hyundai Creta). Courses are 5–20 minutes apart, and a week of hire works out cheaper than the running taxi tab between Carya, Montgomerie and the hotel.
Rates in Belek vary throughout the year depending on the season and the rental length.

What to know about driving in Belek
Belek is one of the easiest resorts in Türkiye for a foreign driver. The roads are flat, the O-21 motorway is good quality, and there are no switchbacks like Kemer or the Alanya Castle road.
HGS on the O-21
The O-21 motorway between AYT and Belek has a small toll section: ₺40–60 per car. The HGS sticker is already on the windscreen and the toll is deducted automatically. The supplier bills it after you return the car with a small admin fee. The D400 towards Side, Aspendos and Manavgat is toll-free.
A guest at Susesi was surprised by a ₺48 HGS line on the final invoice. It's just the auto-deduct from the airport run; the supplier passes it through with a token admin fee.
Parking at resorts and sights
All Belek 5★ resorts include free guest parking. At the ancient sights: Aspendos ₺25–50, Side (old town pedestrian) parking on the way in ₺50, Manavgat ₺25, Perge ₺25–50.
Clubs in the boot
A standard golf set won't fit in the boot of an economy hatchback. For a golf trip choose an estate, SUV or minivan: Renault Symbol, Dacia Duster, Nissan Qashqai, Hyundai Creta. SUV from $30/day, minivan from $55 — a week works out cheaper than taxis between the courses.
Frequent Questions
AYT is 30 km and 25–30 minutes from Belek centre via the O-21 motorway and the D400. It's the closest airport for the resort: closer than Antalya itself (40 km to Lara) and certainly closer than Alanya (130 km). The O-21 has a small ₺40–60 toll section, deducted automatically via the HGS sticker.
Yes — all the main 5★ resorts in Belek are served by hotel delivery: Rixos Premium and Park, Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort and Golf & Spa, Regnum Carya, Gloria, Cornelia Diamond, Calista, Titanic Deluxe, Kempinski The Dome, Susesi, Bellis, Kaya Palazzo. Many have rental desks in the lobby or a partner concierge — 10–15 minutes to set up.
Belek centre, Kadriye and most resorts in Boğazkent get free delivery with most local suppliers. Çolaklı (towards Side) and Lara/Kundu (towards Antalya, around 40 km from Belek centre) are €5–15 by distance. Each supplier sets its own free zone — confirm at the booking stage.
Yes, but not an economy hatchback: a standard golf set won't fit in the boot of a Fiat Egea. Choose an estate, SUV or minivan — Renault Symbol with the larger boot, Dacia Duster, Nissan Qashqai, Hyundai Creta. SUV in the Antalya region from $30/day, minivan from $55. Book ahead in golf season (November to March).
Most Belek courses sit 5–20 minutes apart. Carya — Montgomerie: 5 minutes / 3 km. Sueno — The National: 10 minutes / 6 km. Lykia Links — Cornelia: 15 minutes / 10 km. Hiring a car for a 7-night golf trip works out clearly cheaper than the sum of taxi runs between the courses and the hotel.
Side is 25 km and 30 minutes east of Belek on the toll-free D400. The old town of Side is pedestrian — park on the way in, ₺50 a day. Highlights are the Apollo Temple at sunset, the Roman theatre and the agora. With your own car you can stay until sunset at the Apollo Temple — hotel excursions head back earlier.
Aspendos is 15 km / 20 minutes (the best-preserved Roman amphitheatre in the world, ticket ₺200–300). Manavgat is 30 km / 35 minutes (the waterfall and river boat trips). Many people combine them into a Belek — Aspendos — Perge — Side — Manavgat — Belek route for a full day out, returning in time for dinner at the hotel.
Yes — the O-21 motorway between Belek and AYT has a toll section. It's small, ₺40–60 per car. Payment is automatic via the HGS sticker, and the supplier bills it after you return the car with a small admin fee. The D400 towards Side, Aspendos and Manavgat is toll-free.
Yes — most local suppliers offer one-day hires upwards. The typical all-inclusive plan: 4–5 days at the hotel plus 2–3 days of car hire for Side, Aspendos and Manavgat. The car comes to the lobby and is collected at the same address. Free for most main resorts in central Belek and Kadriye.
It depends on group size. The Side — Aspendos — Manavgat hotel excursion is €30–50 per person; a family of four pays €120–200. An economy car for a day costs €25–35 plus €15 of petrol — €35–50 for everyone. For a golf trip a hire is always cheaper — a week of taxis between courses and the hotel costs more than a week's hire.
The lowest prices are in April–May and October–November (shoulder season). The beach peak is July–August ($55–70/day). Because of strong winter golf demand from November to March, prices don't drop sharply: $44–55/day for an economy car. Book 4–6 weeks ahead for the best rate.
Yes — Belek is one of the few Turkish resorts where car hire runs year-round. From November to March it's the European golf peak: Northern European players come over when their home courses close. Unlike Marmaris and Fethiye, where most operators close in winter, Belek's hire firms stay active all year.
Yes — the long-term market in Belek is well developed thanks to German Langzeitmiete demand and retirees coming for golf winters. Indicative monthly rates: economy from $450/month, mid-range $600–900, SUV $900–1,500. Up to 90 days a passport and a foreign licence are enough.
Yes, but cross-region pricing is higher. Belek → AYT is usually free or €0–15 (regional airport). Belek → Dalaman: €100–180 (~250 km). Belek → Bodrum: €150–250 (~430 km). The major chains support cross-region one-way; local operators are more flexible.
Aspendos — free or ₺25–50 a day at the entrance. Side (the old town is pedestrian) — parking on the way in, ₺50 a day. Manavgat — ₺25 at the waterfall. Perge — ₺25–50. Parking is rarely a problem except at Side in high season (fills by 11 a.m. in summer). Antalya's Kaleiçi uses İSPARK at ₺25–50 per hour.
