Car hire in Belek follows its own rhythm. This is a premium resort area packed with golf courses and dozens of 5★ all-inclusive hotels. Most guests arrive for a week at places like Rixos Premium, Maxx Royal or Regnum Carya and only hire a car for 2–3 days — typically for Side, Aspendos or a golf route.
"Belek is where Antalya Airport (AYT) is closest to the resort zone. Thirty kilometres and twenty-five minutes on the O-21 motorway and you’re already at reception."
Unlike Alanya or Kemer, the roads around Belek are flat and straightforward. The D400 and O-21 are easy to drive even if it’s your first time in Türkiye. There’s a small HGS toll on the O-21 between AYT and Belek (around ₺40–60), but the sticker is already on the car.
Car rental reviews in Belek
In Belek you have two practical options: collect the car at Antalya Airport or have it delivered straight to your hotel. For most all-inclusive guests, delivery is the more convenient choice.
AYT is the only international airport serving the region, 30 km and 25–30 minutes from Belek centre via the O-21 and D400. All the major international chains have desks in the terminal, along with plenty of local operators. Pricing and conditions are the same as in Antalya — it’s effectively one market.
Hotel delivery
For resorts in Belek centre, Kadriye and Boğazkent (the main 5★ cluster), most local suppliers offer free delivery. Çolaklı and Lara/Kundu usually cost €5–15 depending on distance. All the big 5★ resorts provide free guest parking, so the hire car stays on site without any extra charge.
"If you’re staying all-inclusive in Belek for a week, the smartest move is to take the car for just 2–3 days with hotel delivery. Pick it up at reception in the morning, hand it back in the evening. No airport trips needed."
Belek is the heart of Türkiye’s 5★ all-inclusive scene, and most local suppliers deliver to all the major resorts. Reception delivery is usually free or €5–15 depending on distance.
Belek centre and Kadriye — usually free
Rixos Premium Belek, Rixos Park, Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort & Golf & Spa, Regnum Carya, Cornelia Diamond, Calista Luxury, Titanic Deluxe, Kempinski The Dome, Susesi Luxury, Bellis Deluxe, Kaya Palazzo, Gloria Resort — almost all the flagship 5★ properties. Many have a rental desk in the lobby or a partner concierge, so paperwork takes just 10–15 minutes.
Boğazkent, Çolaklı and Lara — €5–15
The more distant resorts towards Side (Çolaklı) and Antalya (Lara/Kundu, around 40 km from central Belek) usually incur a small delivery fee. For Lara guests it’s often simpler to collect at AYT on the way to the hotel.
"Most good Belek 5★ resorts handle delivery via concierge or a desk in the lobby. It’s quick and hassle-free."
Belek sits nicely between Antalya and Side, so most of Pamphylia’s highlights are within easy reach on flat, straightforward roads.
"The classic all-inclusive plan: 4–5 days at the hotel and 2–3 days of car hire for the Side — Aspendos — Manavgat circuit. With your own wheels you can stay at the Apollo Temple until sunset — something group excursions can’t offer."
Aspendos is 15 km / 20 minutes (one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world). Side is 25 km / 30 minutes (Apollo Temple at sunset, Roman theatre). Manavgat is 30 km / 35 minutes (waterfall and river boat trips). Ancient Perge is 25 km / 30 minutes. Antalya and Kaleiçi are 35 km / 40 minutes.
Further out: Pamukkale is 250 km / 3 hours each way. Olympos and Çıralı are 120 km / 2–2.5 hours. Continuing west to Kaş, Fethiye or Bodrum becomes a proper road trip.
"A Belek golf trip is a different story. You need a car with decent boot space (Renault Symbol, Dacia Duster, Hyundai Creta). Courses are only 5–20 minutes apart, and hiring works out noticeably cheaper than taxis over a week."
